Wolves are bracing themselves for a fight to keep hold of star player Matheus Cunha in the upcoming transfer windows.
While it seems unlikely that Wolves will sell Cunha in the January window, there could be a risk of losing the Brazilian in the summer.
Cunha stole the headlines against Fulham as he scored twice in the Old Gold’s 4-1 win on the road, generating attention for his form this season.
Wolves are aware that Cunha is wanted by several clubs, making the remainder of the campaign interesting regarding the forward’s future beyond 2025.

Possible Matheus Cunha asking price amid Man United interest
Interest in the 2023 signing has been building after his remarkable 22-goal contributions during the 2023/24 season.
The Brazil international has started this term in the same way, already having an involvement in 10 Wolves goals in only 13 appearances.

“I think the precedent has been set by [Pedro] Neto, I think Cunha could go for that ballpark of £50m to £60m.”
Bailey went on to explain that several factors could impact how much Wolves generate from possibly parting ways with their famed goalscorer.
“I think it’s around that, it depends who is interested. I don’t see Wolves getting that much more for Cunha but then, possible inflation next summer.
“Let’s see how he finishes the season, if he can get 15-20 goals then you never know.”

Being one of the most in-form players in the Premier League right now, if the Brazilian’s form continues, he could go for a price staggeringly higher than the Blues winger.
Given how important the forward is to Wolves, it should be considered a given that he breaks the Old Gold’s record departure fee.
