The Brazilian’s exit from Molineux has been on the cards for some time now, and it seems like he may play his final game for Wolves this weekend.
Despite Paul Scholes raising concerns about the move, the transfer could be completed in the coming weeks, as Man United close in on Cunha’s signature.

A win against Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening, will guarantee Wolves finish above the Red Devils – a damning stat which perfectly sums up Man United’s struggles this season.
With this in mind, Old Trafford fans will be desperate for some more quality through the door this summer, and they seem to believe Cunha will provide that.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) after Romano’s announcement, United supporters were hugely positive about the Brazilian’s impending move.
One fan said: “Very good signing”, whilst another added, “He will excel in the number 10 position.”

How much Wolves are expected to receive for Cunha?
Given how impactful he has been this season, Cunha’s exit will come as a big blow to Vitor Pereira’s side.
Wolves, however, can be encouraged knowing they are going to maximise the fee received for the Brazilian.

Cunha’s release clause of £62.5 million becomes active in June, which means Wolves will make a tidy profit on the £44 million they paid Atletico Madrid two years ago.
