Matheus Nunes is to join Manchester City from Wolves, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
It has been a whirlwind past few days regarding the midfielder.
Nunes has not been training with Wolves since the Everton game, going on strike in order to force through a move to City. And that has angered a lot of people.
But it looks as though the Portuguese he has now gotten his wish…
Fabrizio Romano delivers big Matheus Nunes update
Just moments ago, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano delivered the biggest update yet on Nunes.

He says that a verbal agreement has now been reached between the two clubs.
Nunes – who did not train again today – is said to be already on his way to the Premier League champions.
Romano has given the story his ‘Here we go’ catchphrase, which usually means something will go through.
And according to David Ornstein, Tommy Doyle is set to join Wolves on loan. Wolves will have an option to buy the youngster for £5 million.
City have reportedly negotiated a whopping 50% sell-on clause.
A huge update
It is good that an agreement has been reached today, and now Wolves can hopefully use the money to bolster the squad significantly in the next 48 hours.
It is probably not as much as they had hope for. But City do apparently value Doyle at around £15 million so.
It is very interesting that Doyle is coming to Wolves as part of the deal.

He really impressed on loan at Sheffield United last season.
The 21-year-old will be a nice option for Gary O’Neil moving forwards.
