Wolves are expected to see some stars depart this summer, with one player now receiving interest from abroad.
Gary O’Neil has ensured that Wolves have had a fast start to the summer transfer window, as three players have been captured by the Old Gold.
Tommy Doyle, Rodrigo Gomes and Pedro Lima are the players who represent the Midlands club’s early arrivals in 2024/25.
While the majority of attention has been on arrivals, O’Neil is expected to lose some players this summer, with one figure now said to be attracting interest.

Wolves learn of interest from Spain and Saudi Arabia for Chiquinho
After spending the 2023/24 season on loan at Famalicao, Wolves are preparing for Chiquinho’s return after a successful spell in Portugal.
While the 24-year-old will return to Molineux as part of the procedure, there is speculation that he could depart on a permanent basis this summer.
Portuguese club Braga are claimed to be interested in the winger, with Sporting CP also referenced to be admirers of the Wolves man.
While interest from Liga Portugal has been documented, Chiquinho has now been linked with moves to both Saudi Arabia and Spain.
A report relayed by Sport Witness mentions that Villarreal and Al-Ettifaq are interested in the Wolves outsider, who is rumoured to be valued at around £8.5m.
Gary O’Neil has a decision to make with Chiquinho
As the story of the 2024/25 transfer window progresses, speculation will grow however, it is understood that no decision on Chiquinho’s future will be made until O’Neil has assessed the winger.
The Portuguese forward will return to Wolves for pre-season, where the manager will decide whether to keep the player in his squad or whether to move him on.
Once lauded as ‘electric’ during his short stint at Stoke City, there is no denying the talent that the winger possesses, having contributed to nine goals last term at Famalicao.
O’Neil has a significant task on his hands this summer as he prepares to assess all 15 of the Wolves players who were out on loan last term, one of which being Chiquinho.
It will be interesting to see how the manager sees the winger with reference to his plans for the squad, with a transfer likely if no future at Molineux is identified.
