Mario Lemina could have played his last game for Wolves.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who arrived from Ligue 1 side Nice two years ago, has been one of the Old Gold’s most played players.
The Gabon international started 34 Premier League games last season and has already started in 15 this term.
However, despite being a hugely influential member of Vitor Pereira’s squad, Lemina is a top transfer target for Saudi side Al Shabab.

Mario Lemina transfer to Al Shabab moving quickly
Wolves’ industrious number five appears to be the next big name heading to the Middle East, and even though an unnamed European club also wants to sign Lemina, it appears Al Shabab are the saga’s clear frontrunners.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Fatih Terim, who took over from Pereira last month, is a huge fan of the African midfielder and wants to make him his marquee January signing.
With Wolves clearly open to the possibility of losing Lemina during the mid-season window, an agreement could be reached quite soon.
Gerson among possible replacement options
Although fans may feel disappointed at the prospect of losing such an important player in Lemia, with the midfielder’s contract set to expire in the summer, offloading him now may be a smart decision.
There will be expectations to replace him though, so Wolves, already linked with Flamengo’s Gerson, would be wise to act quickly when Lemina’s proposed transfer to the Al Shabab is finalised.
27-year-old Gerson, who also captains Flamengo, has two-and-a-half years left on his deal, and since making his his debut for the Brazilian side in 2019, has gone on to directly contribute to 47 goals in 225 games in all competitions.
