Wolves fans are getting increasingly frustrated with the lack of activity this summer.
The club finished the 2021/22 season in really poor form, failing to win any of the last seven Premier League games.

Wanderers ended up slipping a couple of places in the final day to finish 10th.
While that was an upgrade on 13th the season before, it felt rather disappointing given the position the club was in only a couple of months prior.
Fans were hoping that the club would really go on the offensive this summer.
Many wanted to see a couple of new faces brought in early doors.
But that hasn’t been the case, and there have been many reports so far of Wolves simply having interest in players but not actually bidding.
There have been suggestions that the club are looking to sell Ruben Neves in order to make signings.

This morning, there are reports that Manchester United are closing in on Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona.
This is potentially significant for Wolves, because Barcelona have been reported to be interested in Neves.
They supposedly see him as a potential long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets.
It’s thought Barca need to sell players to land their targets this summer, and offloading de Jong to Manchester United should bring in a lot of money.
It’s possible that de Jong being sold could mean Barca have the cash to afford Neves which, in turn, will help Wolves get their summer up and running.
According to Sky Sports, United are set to pay £56 million plus add-ons, and the deal is ‘close’.
de Jong to United could see Barcelona move for Neves and kick-start Wolves’ summer
This could well mean Barcelona will be able to finance a move for Neves.
It is still all ifs buts and maybes at this stage, but Barcelona have been strongly linked with Neves over the past couple of months.

So it’s very possible they could come calling for the Molineux maestro if de Jong does indeed move to Old Trafford.
And if they did, hopefully Wanderers can get a deal agreed quickly.
The club can then reinvest the money from his sale.
