Conor Coady’s career hasn’t gone as planned since leaving Wolves, and he could now be set for another move.
It’s fair to say that there aren’t many players more loved at Molineux than Coady.
Regarded as Wolves’ most important player since Steve Bull, the Englishman was instrumental in the club’s rise from Championship strugglers to European contenders.
Now, two years on from his West Midlands departure, Coady has failed to replicate the success he enjoyed at Molineux at any of his subsequent clubs.
Having just suffered relegation with Leicester City, it now seems like the former Wolves defender could be on the move yet again.

Rangers in talks with Conor Coady
Despite Coady being linked with Wolves, it seems like there won’t be any royal homecoming this summer.
That is because the 32-year-old is reportedly ‘in talks’ with Scottish giants Rangers over a proposed switch from Leicester.
According to reports from the Daily Record, new Rangers sporting director Kevin Thelwell is said to be a ‘big fan’ of Coady, having previously signed him for Everton.
With a year still to run on his Foxes deal, Coady will have to take a pay cut after their relegation from the Premier League – something that may sway him into heading north of the border.

Rangers move could be perfect for Coady
Coady has wanted out of Leicester since January, and it seems like the defender may get his wish this summer.
At 32 years old, Coady still has some gas in the tank and could provide new Rangers boss Russell Martin with some much-needed experience in the backline.
