Fabio Silva is approaching the end of his time at Wolves ahead of the summer transfer window, with speculation over his future heating up.
Silva’s time at Molineux has been a nightmare since completing a club-record £35 million move in 2020, scoring just five goals in 72 appearances.
Supporters feared that his disastrous spell would lead to Wolves losing a significant amount on what they paid for him, although that may no longer be the case.
Starring on loan at Las Palmas, Silva has hit double figures this term, even outscoring the likes of Jude Bellingham and Antoine Griezmann in La Liga.
Unsurprisingly, several clubs have shown an interest in the 22-year-old, with Eintracht Frankfurt the latest to be linked to Silva alongside the likes of Las Palmas and Celta Vigo.

Fabio Silva reveals that club’s sporting director has told him they’ll sign him
Sometimes players just aren’t cut out for the physicality of the Premier League, and although that could have changed under Vitor Pereira, Silva currently falls into that category.
In a less demanding league, the Wolves loanee is flying and it’s no surprise to see Atletico Madrid show an interest in Silva, and the striker has now commented on those transfer links.

“It’s not the most important thing right now, just how I can help in the games and the work I can give to the team,” the forward said via AS.
“Outside of football, I’ve already had that experience; I don’t try to focus too much on the future and enjoy the present.
“I know that if I continue doing things well like I have been, good things will come, but I want to finish the season well and leave Las Palmas in the first division to bring joy to the fans.”
“Atlético Madrid is one of the best teams in the world, but right now I’m only focused on the goal of saving Las Palmas, and the future will be revealed.”
Silva doesn’t want to be distracted by the interest of a European giant, instead acknowledging it, but he has admitted that the Las Palmas sporting directors want him to return in the future.
“Of course, I would like to wear the yellow jersey again one day. I always say that the fans have treated me very well and I’ve felt very comfortable,” Silva explained.
“Sometimes, jokingly, [Las Palmas director] Luis Helguera and [president] Miguel Ángel Ramírez have told me that I’ll return, and I hope to return in the future.
“It’s a club that has touched me deeply and has given me the joy of feeling important and happy again. Therefore, I will try to give my best in the remaining seven matches.”
Little chance to salvage Wolves career
The above comments suggest that the Portuguese striker sees his future elsewhere, and Silva has already said he wants to leave Wolves.
A redemption arc under Pereira would have been intriguing to watch however, the chance of that happening looks increasingly slim.
Wolves fans want Silva to be sold in any case, seeing his current scoring form as an opportunity to recoup a decent fee for him.
Anything upwards of £20 million seems reasonable for a 22-year-old with big potential, something he will have to fulfil elsewhere.
