Wolves could reportedly face a possible transfer swoop from Liverpool for Pedro Neto next year, if Mo Salah leaves Anfield.
Neto has got a lot of people talking following his brilliant start to 2023/24.
The Portuguese wide man has made five assists and scored one goal so far in Wolves’ first seven Premier League games.
He’s been the standout player for Wanderers.
And it’s been delightful to see given the injury problems he has had over the past couple of years.
But Wolves fans know that Neto playing this well is going to result in transfer speculation.
And a very bold claim was made yesterday about the 23-year-old…
Liverpool could move for Pedro Neto as transfer speculation about Mo Salah continues
According to Football Transfers, Liverpool could make a beeline for Neto if Salah leaves the Reds next year.

Of course, towards the end of the last transfer window, the Egyptian became the subject of a pursuit from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.
They reportedly saw mammoth bid of £150 million rejected.
In the end, Salah stayed put but there is a feeling that they, or other Saudi clubs, could come calling again.
Salah’s current Liverpool contract expires in the summer of 2025.
So Liverpool may not wish to allow the player to enter into his final year and sell.
Apparently Neto is now on their radar as a potential replacement if he is sold.
Neto is also said to have interest from Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa.
Reported Liverpool interest in Neto is a worry
We will see if there are any more publications that claim interest from Liverpool in Neto in the coming months.
But if the Reds are indeed keen then it would be a problem for Wolves.
They’re one of the biggest clubs in the world and Neto may well be tempted to make that move – especially if they get back into the Champions League next season.
Salah leaving would likely mean Neto would get to be regular starter.

Wolves fans have seen the club do business with Liverpool before, with Diogo Jota making the move for £45 million in the summer of 2020.
Supporters would like to think Neto wouldn’t follow his former teammate. But they could well come calling with a lot of money from a Salah sale.
