Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has come in for a lot of criticism this season – and now he’s the subject of interest from another Premier League club.
Strand Larsen made headlines for the wrong reasons again on Saturday, as he missed a late penalty against Brentford for Wolves.
It may not have ultimately mattered if he had scored. But the penalty itself was extremely poor, prompting fans to chant against Strand Larsen.
It rather summed up his season so far.

Strand Larsen has scored just one Premier League goal this term, and recently, the criticism of him has really ramped up.
Against Manchester United, fans sarcastically cheered when he was substituted off, and social media is awash with fans questioning his attitude and language.
Off the back of yesterday’s defeat, there has now been a big transfer claim about Wolves’ number nine.
Jorgen Strand Larsen wanted by West Ham and others

In the summer, Strand Larsen was the subject of interest from Newcastle United.
The Magpies made two bids, but Wolves’ stance was firm. He was not to be sold.
Some have suggested that interest may have messed with his head, and now it looks like there could be more transfer speculation.
David Ornstein has reported this afternoon that Strand Larsen has emerged as a target for West Ham United, who want him on a permanent deal.
Do you expect JSL to still be a Wolves player by the end of January?
The Norwegian is now wanted by West Ham, amongst others… 👀
Currently, their striker Niclas Fullkrug is in talks to join AC Milan on loan.
Ornstein reports that other clubs are also in for Strand Larsen, but stops short of revealing any more identities.
There is no word on a potential asking price from Wolves, nor is there any information about Strand Larsen’s stance at this stage.

Wolves should hear offers for Strand Larsen
It has been a disastrous season for Strand Larsen and now we have word of interest from West Ham and others.
The Norway international has been a shadow of the player he was last season, so it will be fascinating to see what happens with him next month.

Obviously, there will not be offers coming in that were similar to what Newcastle were willing to pay in the summer.
But Wolves could still be tempted to cash in.
He was signed permanently for about £23 million, so Wolves would be surely looking to make a decent profit on him.
