The summer transfer window has been incredibly eventful for Wolves, with Vitor Pereira having almost totally revamped his squad.
After seeing Matheus Cunha leave to join Manchester United in a blockbuster £62.5m transfer, and captain Nelson Semedo leaving as a free agent, Pereira has made five summer signings in order to fill the void left by two Wolves legends.
Wolves fans will be hoping that their club doesn’t lose any more star players before the transfer window finally shuts on 1st September. Currently, starting striker Jorgen Strand Larsen is being heavily linked with a move to Newcastle United in the final days of the window, and was worryingly left out of the squad to face Everton due to a ‘small injury’.
Along with another exit, there could be more signings to come through the Molineux doors too.
So, with that said, here’s a look at the confirmed Wolves transfers in and out of the club for the summer 2025 transfer window.
Confirmed permanent Wolves transfers in summer 2025
- Jhon Arias (£15m from Fluminense)
- Jackson Tchatchoua (10.3m from Hellas Verona)
- Fer Lopez (£19.5m from Celta Vigo)
- David Moller Wolfe (£10m from AZ Alkmaar)
- Jorgen Strand Larsen (£23m from Celta Vigo)
- Tolu Arokodare (£24m from Genk)
Having just picked up the option to buy Strand Larsen, Wolves fans will certainly be disappointed with the recent news that he could be leaving the club.
On a more positive note, there’s certainly plenty to be excited about when it comes to the club’s other incomings this summer.
Jhon Arias has been given the number ten jersey and is clearly viewed as the like-for-like replacement for Cunha in the heart of Wolves’ attack, while Fer Lopez looks set to provide versatility and quality in the final third too.
At the other end of the park, Pereira has also been busy adding wing-back options to his squad, signing Jackson Tchatchoua and David Moller Wolfe to replace Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Confirmed loan transfers at Wolves in summer 2025
- Ladislav Krecji (from Girona)
Wolves’ most recent signing of the transfer window is Czechia international Ladislav Krecji. The club forked out £6m to sign the defender on an initial loan deal, and have the option to make it permanent for £20m next summer.

Wolves permanent transfer exits for summer 2025
- Matheus Cunha (£62.5m to Man Utd)
- Rayan Ait-Nouri (£36m to Man City)
- Fabio Silva (£23m to Borussia Dortmund)
- Goncalo Guedes (£3m to Real Sociedad)
- Bastien Meupiyou (Undisclosed to FC Alverca)
- Joe Hodge (Undisclosed to Tondela)
- Chem Campbell (Undisclosed to Stevenage)
- Tom King (Undisclosed to Everton)
- Nelson Semedo (Free agent, joined Fenerbahce)
- Pablo Sarabia (Free agent, joined Al-Arabi SC)
- Craig Dawson (Free agent)
There’s been plenty of outgoings during the summer transfer window, with star players Cunha, Ait-Nouri and Semedo all leaving the club.
Without the former, Cunha, bagging 21 goal contributions during the 2024/25 campaign, it’s hard to imagine that Wolves would be a Premier League club right now.
Along with those big exits, Wolves have also lost a number of useful squad players. Most notably, Pablo Sarabia, who scored a crucial winning goal against Manchester United late in the 2024/25 season.
Wolves loan transfer exits in summer 2025
- Tommy Doyle (Loan to Birmingham City)
- Nasser Djiga (Loan to Rangers)
- Boubacar Traore (Loan to FC Metz)
- Dexter Lembikisa (Loan to Lincoln City)
Nasser Djiga was signed by Pereira on deadline day during the 2025 winter transfer window but largely struggled for game time in the second half of the season – playing just 65 minutes of Premier League football. Wolves will be hoping that regular game time at Rangers will help him become a key player at Molineux in the years to come.
Like Djiga, Tommy Doyle also struggled to break into Pereira’s team last campaign, and has now gone on loan to promotion-chasing Birmingham City. If Birmingham are promoted to the Premier League in 2025/26, they’ll be obligated to sign Doyle for £10m.
