Wolves have seemingly received a boost over Max Kilman, with Napoli now targeting another centre-back.
Kilman’s future has been somewhat up in the air recently.
Napoli have sold Kim Min-jae to Bayern Munich.
The reigning Serie A champions have been on a mission to try and replace the South Korea international.
Their search had led them to Kilman, and they reportedly even made an offer of around £30 million.
Wolves have been reported to value Kilman at at least £35 million.
But it looks as though Wolves may now be set to hand on to the 26-year-old…
Napoli now turn attention to Kevin Danso after showing interest in Max Kilman
According to Foot Mercato, Napoli are now looking at another centre-back in the form of Kevin Danso from RC Lens.
He is a player that has been on their radar for a while.

But seemingly, Napoli’s struggles to sign Kilman are pushing them towards the Austria international.
Foot Mercato say that manager Rudi Garcia has identified Danso as a ‘priority’ signing.
It remains to be seen if a deal can come to fruition.
At the moment, Danso is apparently fairly happy at Lens. He had a fantastic season last time out, and will be playing Champions League football in 2023/24 if he sticks with them.
But Napoli, of course, will also be playing in the Champions league after winning Serie A.
Foot Mercato say that there is nothing imminent at the moment on Danso to Napoli.
Max Kilman currently looking likely to stay at Wolves
For now, it looks like there is a good chance Kilman will be staying put at Wolves.
Napoli’s interest was keen strong a couple of weeks ago.
But Wolves seem to have dug their heels in over the Englishman, despite the fact the club are looking to make more player sales this summer.

Seemingly Kilman – whom Steve Bull reckons does not want to leave – is a player the club now don’t want to lose.
A suggestion of this is that Kilman has assumed the captaincy after Ruben Neves (and also Conor Coady) departed the club.
There have also been reports that Wolves are keen to get Kilman tied down to a new contract.
