Chiquinho has posted a picture of himself and Toti Gomes to his Instagram Story, amid speculation he is moving to Wolves.

The attacker has been linked with the club over the last few days, with talk about Adama Traore continuing.

Supposedly, a £3 million transfer (plus add-ons, The Athletic) is on the cards for the Estoril star, who has previously been compared to former Manchester United and Portugal winger Nani.

Chiquinho has made 15 appearances so far this season, and scored three goals for his club.

The Daily Mail had reported that he was due to fly to England on Monday.

Chiquinho is set to become the club’s first first-team signing according to The Athletic.

Of course, Wolves have already moved for Hayao Kawabe, but it’s expected he will move to Grasshoppers on loan.

It seems that official news of Chiquinho’s move to Molineux might not be too far away now, as the player has actually taken to his Instagram account last night.

The star ominously uploaded a picture of him and Toti Gomes.

The 21-year-old knows Wolves’ newest Premier League debutant. Gomes was signed by Wolves from Estoril back in 2020.

It seems to suggest that a move is close.

Wolves move to sign Chiquinho now imminent?

Between this photo and the several reports there has been, it looks fairly safe to say that Chiquinho will soon become a Wolves player.

Wolves fans will hope that, should he sign as expected, he is able to make an immediate impact.

In fairness, it’s probably likely he won’t see too much first-team action initially.

Bruno Lage is currently very well stocked in the forward areas, and Pedro Neto is set to return next month.

Perhaps if Traore departed, we might see him a little between now and the end of the season.
