Wolves have completed their first signing of the January transfer window today in the form of Emmanuel Agbadou.
Nine days in, Wolves have a new face through the door, and fans are delighted that it’s a centre-back.
Agbadou joins Wolves on a four-and-a-half-year deal, with the club having an option to extend by a further year.
Fans will hope that Agbadou can make an instant impact, with Wolves’ defensive struggles well-documented this season. Potentially, he could make his debut against Bristol City this weekend in the FA Cup.
Wolves’ game with Bristol City is an opportunity for Pereira to perhaps look at players on the fringes at Molineux.
One player who falls into this category is Luke Cundle, who is now on the shortlist of one Championship club.
Swansea City interested in signing Luke Cundle from Wolves again

Earlier this week it was claimed there was interest in Cundle from Championship clubs. And now, according to Wales Online, Cundle is of interest to Swansea City.
The Swans are looking to strengthen this month and might attempt a move for Cundle.
Of course, Cundle has played for Swansea before. In the 2022/23 season, Cundle had a loan spell at the Liberty Stadium. He then returned to Wolves, before having stints at Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle.
So potentially, there could be potential for a deal to happen.
But there is only interest at the moment.
It’s stated that Cundle is one name on an extensive list of targets for Swansea for the midfield position. Noel Milleskog if IK Sirius and who players for Abdulmalik Al-Jaber Željezničar are also options.
Wolves must loan Cundle out
If there is any possibility for Cundle to head to Swansea this month then Wolves ought to do their utmost to make it happen.
For one reason or another, Cundle did not head out on loan for the start of 2024/25, nor was he sold.
He has just been with the U21s, but at this point, he’s above that level.
Cundle needs to be playing regular football at senior level – he is clearly capable, having already clocked up 72 appearances in the Championship.

Hopefully, Wolves are able to sort something out for him. Stoke City were keen on Cundle again in the summer, but nothing materialised in the end, so maybe the Potters will also come back in for him.
But before he potentially leaves it’s possible we could see him actually get some minutes for Wolves against Bristol City in the FA Cup. But it’s hard to see where regular minutes with the first-team would come from.
Mario Lemina is linked with an exit from Wolves, so perhaps if he went then the situation might change. But Wolves could also look to sign a replacement, which would not change anything for Cundle.
