The speculation about Jhon Arias’ immediate future simply won’t go away, with a Champions League club now reportedly interested in the Wolves winger.
Arias recently suggested he was up for the challenge at Wolves, after a difficult start following his summer move from Fluminense.
But in the past couple of weeks, there have been several reports about Arias potentially moving on in January.
It was claimed Arias was dissatisfied with life at Wolves, and that the likes of Palmeiras and Flamengo were keen on a January swoop.
And now, there is word of interest from another club, with Wolves and new manager Rob Edwards potentially bracing for an approach.
Galatasaray interested in Jhon Arias after his slow start at Wolves

There is no doubt that Arias has had an underwhelming start at Molineux.
He has still not scored or assisted in 12 appearances across all competitions for the club.
Many expected a lot more given Arias’ status as a proven player, who has international pedigree.
And now, speculation is beginning to ramp up about the South American, with a new claim being made from Turkey.
Jhon Arias was only recently quoted speaking defiantly amid his Wolves struggles
According to Takvim, Galatasaray are set to contact Arias’ agent in the coming days regarding a potential January move. It’s stated the offer will be forwarded to Wolves.
The approach has apparently been approved by head coach Okan Buruk, and it’s also mentioned that Arias has been on Gala’s agenda before, suggesting he’s a player they really like.
Should anything come to fruition, then it would be the second consecutive mid-season window that a player has left Wolves for Galatasaray – who are currently ninth in the Champions League League Phase table – after Mario Lemina made the same move in February 2025.
Arias leaving in January would mean further embarrassment for Wolves

The season could not really have started in a worse way for Wolves – and a January exit for Arias would be another embarrassing episode for the club.
We will see what happens, but the noise seems to be increasing around Arias and his future, despite his defiant comments recently about wanting to succeed at Wolves.
Keep or sell Jhon Arias in January?
It would be hugely disappointing if he went, and new manager Rob Edwards will surely hope to prevent that from happening, given Arias has proven himself as a top player previously.
That said, if Edwards determines that Arias is not fully ‘in’ at Wolves, then there may be no avoiding a January exit.
