It was evident following Wolves’ opening-day defeat to Manchester City that strengthening the squad was a priority.
The need for signings hasn’t been kept quiet, with Vitor Pereira making it known publicly on multiple occasions, and even Pep Guardiola asked if Wolves were active in the market, following the 4-0 defeat.
Work in the transfer market hasn’t gone too well over the last few weeks, with Bournemouth stealing two Wolves targets already.
Now, ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match, the Cherries are set to add a third blow to the Old Gold before a ball is kicked.

Bournemouth in talks to sign Wolves target Axel Disasi
Axel Disasi has been a Wolves target for quite some time, with the club clearly looking to bolster their central defence.
Chelsea expect Disasi to be sold, and Pereira’s side have held interest since January. However, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Bournemouth have started talks to sign the central defender.
The Cherries are discussing a loan deal, with an option to buy, with Chelsea and are also in talks with the defender himself.
Wolves have also been linked to Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior, highlighting the club’s need for another defender in the squad.
But losing out to Disasi would signal yet another blow at the hands of Andoni Iraola’s team, and that is before they even play each other.
Bournemouth have already stolen Ben Gannon-Doak and Amine Adli from Wolves
So far this window, Bournemouth have signed Ben Gannon-Doak and are set to secure the arrival of Amine Adli. Two players Wolves were also interested in this summer.
The timing couldn’t be worse for the Old Gold, with the side about to take on the Cherries in the Premier League on Saturday.
Bournemouth will be stronger than the impressive showing they displayed against Liverpool, and that will only signal bad news for Vitor Pereira.
Wolves are hoping to pick up their first points of the season, and that task just got more difficult.
