Francisco Trincao will spend the 2021/22 season on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers – and a lot of Barcelona fans are not happy.
The winger was announced by the club this morning somewhat out of the blue.

He is the second signing of the summer so far after Yerson Mosquera joined a couple of weeks ago.
Trincao’s move to the Black Country comes after he struggled to get regular starts at Barca last term.
He joined them from Braga to a lot of fanfare, but had some very strong competition from the likes of Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann.
He’ll be hoping to make an impression at Wolves, and remind everyone what a promising talent he is.

With Pedro Neto sidelined and set to miss the start of 2021/22, there’s a good chance he’ll get decent minutes under Bruno Lage.
Wolves fans were buzzing with this morning’s announcement.
By complete contrast though, Barcelona fans are less than impressed.
A number have slammed the club’s decision to allow Trincao to head to Molineux.

Many are particularly upset that Barca have agreed to insert an option to buy clause, which is said to be around £25 million.
Perhaps the reaction is a real indication Wolves have just acquired a top talent:
