Wolves are considering signing a replacement for Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Gerard Martin is thought to be a player of interest.
Wanderers completed their second player sale of the summer on Monday as Ait-Nouri joined City, after weeks of speculation.
It was a move that was always fairly likely to happen, given how impressive Ait-Nouri had been in recent times for Wolves.
Fans now want to see Wolves make some moves.
Molineux News has previously been told that Hugo Bueno could be reintegrated by Wolves to replace Ait-Nouri.
But there is scope for the club to raid the transfer market, and Wolves like Gerard Martin.
Martin has an asking price of around £10 million, but there’s been a development which may make life more difficult for Wolves.
Bournemouth join Wolves in race for Gerard Martin

SPORT have claimed that Wolves have now been joined in the race for Martin by Bournemouth.
Bournemouth, of course, are about to lose Milos Kerkez, who is set to join Liverpool.
It is pointed out that Bournemouth and Barcelona did business last summer, with full-back Julian Araujo heading to the south coast.
Wolves have been in contact with Barca to understand the conditions of a potential deal, and there is mention of Jorge Mendes, the agent Wolves have relied on many times over the years.
Mendes is set to have more influence for Wolves this summer, after the club instigated a restructure.
It is stated Mendes’ good relationship with both Wolves and Barca could help bring a deal to fruition. But at the moment, Martin is not particularly keen to depart.
And currently, Martin is with the Spain U21s for the European Championships, meaning there likely won’t be anything happening too soon.

Hugo Bueno deserves chance to start for Wolves
Some will find this update disappointing.
But Wolves do have someone primed and ready to succeed Ait-Nouri, and his name is Hugo Bueno.
Bueno just enjoyed a great season out on loan with Feyenoord, and would deserve to be given a chance by Vitor Pereira.
Robin van Persie recently hailed Bueno for his mindset amongst other things, and there is a real suggestion he is now ready to make that left wing-back spot his own.
Wolves may yet try to push to sign Martin ahead of Bournemouth. But it would not be a disaster if they missed out.
