Wolves could be set to sell one of their most expensive ever players in the summer, with Atletico Madrid showing interest.
At the moment, the attention is firmly on the likes of Matheus Cunha and Mario Lemina, who could both be on the move this month.
Cunha is a target for several top sides in the Premier League, while Lemina wants out of Wolves with Al-Shabab linked.
It remains to be seen what kind of player movements there will be in the coming days, but one claim has now been made about a potential summer move.
Fabio Silva has been playing over in La Liga with Las Palmas this term – and his performances have caught the eye of Atletico Madrid and Diego Simeone.
Atletico Madrid eye summer transfer for Fabio Silva

According to journalist Rudy Galetti via TEAMtalk, Atletico Madrid are now showing interest in Fabio Silva.
Silva has been enjoying a fairly productive season so far, having scored six goals and made two assists in his 16 appearances so far.
According to the report, Silva made a lasting impression on Atleti and manager Simeone when Las Palmas played against them recently.
Atletico ran out 2-0 winners, but Silva’s performance caught the eye.
Silva is certainly starting to make an impression over in Spain’s top-flight. Of the six goals he has scored, two have come against Real Madrid and Barcelona.
And earlier in the season, Silva actually received his first call-up to the Portugal national team, and then made his debut against Croatia.

Silva likely to leave Wolves
It was suggested back in November by journalist Liam Keen that Silva has no future at Wolves.
He said: “It’s as close to 100% (leaving) as it could possibly be. I think the player is done and is ready to go, I think Wolves are done and are ready to let him go. But they also spent a lot of money on him. He’s got a couple of years left on his deal.
“They’ve wanted to get a permanent move for him for some time, as has the player and his people. But they’ve not been able to make it happen based on the money Wolves would have wanted for him.”

Keen did say that a change of manager could potentially change the situation. But it was a pretty emphatic assessment of the situation.
Considering Silva is on record as saying he never even really wanted to join Wolves in 2020, there is surely little chance of him staying.
It will certainly be fascinating to see how the rest of his season plays out, and if Atletico come calling with a transfer bid.
Silva cost Wolves £35 million (BBC Sport), and the club will simply be hoping to sell as close to that initial investment as possible.
