Arsenal have reportedly made an offer to sign young defender Brayden Clarke, who has already seemingly confirmed his exit from Wolves on social media.
Clarke, 16, has been making waves in the Wolves academy for some time now, and has turned out for the U18s.
The talented youngster was a part of the Wales squad that reached the UEFA European U17 Championships finals in March 2023, and there has been a feeling that Clarke could really be one to watch at Molineux.
But it seems that Clarke is now set for a new chapter…
Arsenal make offer to sign Wolves defender Brayden Clarke

It has been reported exclusively today by The Secret Scout on X that Premier League giants Arsenal have made their move to sign Clarke.
Apparently, the Gunners are now ‘likely’ to be his next destination.
Supposedly, there has been interest from four other Premier League clubs, but they are not mentioned.
Clarke, who is the son of former footballer Nigel Quashie, appears to be on his way, because a couple of days ago he posted on Instagram: “After 7 years at Wolves, the time has come for me to move onto a new chapter.
“I want to thank everybody who has helped me along the journey and I wish all of my teammates at Wolves the best of luck for the future.”
Clarke’s Wolves academy profile page has already been taken down, so it would seem that confirmation of his next move should arrive very soon.
At the moment, there are no details regarding the nature of Arsenal’s offer.
Clarke’s development will be interesting to see
If it is true that Clarke is signing for Arsenal then it will be very interesting to see how he gets on there.
Clearly, he is a young player with big potential. He’s already played at the U17s Euros with Wales, and now Arsenal are set to beat several other clubs to his signature. With plenty of clubs showing interest, it’s clear he’s a talent.
Hopefully, he does not turn out to be a player that Wolves have too many regrets over later down the line.
