While the opening of the January window can be an exciting time for Wolves fans when players are being added to the side, it can also be a torturous experience with the threat of exits.
Wolves are in a precarious position as the window approaches.
With most pegging the Old Gold as certain for relegation, the vultures are starting to circle.
Jorgen Strand Larsen is back in transfer discussions, and star midfielder Andre is on Galatasaray’s shortlist.
Staying in Turkey, Besiktas have reportedly taken the first step in luring away a regular starter for Rob Edwards.
Emmanuel Agbadou has been linked with a move to Turkey, and he is reportedly open to making the switch…
How much do you think Emmanuel Agbadou is worth, and would you sell him? 💰
Besiktas approach Wolves for Emmanuel Agbadou
Emmanuel Agbadou is no stranger to a winter move.
He arrived at Molineux last January and made an instant impact as one of the most important players in Vitor Pereira’s Great Escape.
Last week, we learned that Agbadou’s agent was in contact with Besiktas over a potential move. Those talks must have gone well, as Turkish outlet FotoMac claim club-to-club talks have been initiated.

They reveal: “It was reported that the Black and Whites have added Emmanuel Agbadou, who plays for Wolverhampton, to their transfer list. Contact has reportedly begun between the two clubs regarding the star player.”
Agbadou hasn’t maintained the same level this season, but no one at Molineux has. It would be a shame to see him depart so soon, while also acting as a clear message from Fosun.
If Agbadou is sold in January, how would you rate his spell at Wolves out of 10? Let us know in the comments!
The Ivorian reportedly wants to leave 🤔
A sign of things to come at Wolves
If Besiktas get their way and Agbadou leaves in January, it’s a pretty damning indictment on the ambitions of the club.
It would feel very much like rolling over and accepting their Championship fate.
Should that happen, there’s every reason to think many more will follow suit.
Hopefully, Fosun haven’t resigned themselves to that reality yet. If they have, we all should too.
