Wolves fans know this is an extremely important transfer window.
Vitor Pereira did a tremendous job after replacing Gary O’Neil midway through last season, but he now needs a big show of faith from Fosun to take the team onwards.
Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri have already departed, leaving Wolves’ left side significantly weaker.
And more players are set to follow in the coming weeks.
What is really important is that Fosun release the purse strings a little to allow Pereira to sign players who are ready to make an impact now.
Not prospects that will come good in a few years’ time. Players who can come straight in and hit the ground running.
We all know though that Fosun love a cheap deal, and it may not be out of the question that we even see some free signings.
And earlier today, Wolves were linked with Vladimir Coufal – a player whose contract is about to expire at West Ham United.
Wolves fans seething over Vladimir Coufal transfer link

Apparently, Wolves and Everton are in for Coufal, as are Sunderland, Fulham, Leeds United and Burnley.
As we all know, Nelson Semedo is currently deciding his future, with a four-year contract offer on the table from Wolves.
But the growing feeling is that he will leave the club, and present Wolves with the difficult scenario of replacing him.
And Wolves fans overwhelmingly do not want Coufal to be that man to come in.

Wolves must show more ambition
If it’s true that Wolves are considering Coufal, then that is disappointing. Unless Semedo stays and the Czech Republic international comes in as back-up.
But then, even that would have negatives attached, because then that’s another barrier to minutes for Pedro Lima.
If Semedo is leaving, Coufal cannot be his replacement.

While he’s been a decent servant over the years for West Ham, he is turning 33 in a couple of months and is past his peak.
Even Rodrigo Gomes, who played as a right wing-back for Estoril before joining Wolves, would be a better option.
Hopefully nothing will materialise here, and Pereira can get someone who’s a bit nearer to Semedo in terms of quality.
