Fabio Silva appears to be coming to the end of his stint at Wolves.
The striker is currently on loan at Las Palmas, and has been performing quite well over in Spain.
Some have wondered if Fabio Silva might come back to Wolves and be an option for Vitor Pereira next season, with the Portuguese having got the best out of so many players during his short spell at Molineux so far.
But it’s been reported Silva is set to leave Wolves permanently this summer, five years after signing for the club from FC Porto for £35 million.
At the moment, interest in Silva is high – which is good news for Wolves officials who are hoping to sell the striker for as much money as possible.
But it’s now been claimed there has been an enquiry from a club that will be playing in the Premier League next season.
Burnley have expressed interest in Fabio Silva transfer

Silva has scored 10 goals and made three assists in 25 appearances so far for Las Palmas, who are fighting to stay in La Liga.
As a result of this haul of goals and assists, Silva is actually quite coveted going into the summer.
Previously, it’s been claimed Eintracht Frankfurt are fans of Silva.
There is also interest in Silva from Wolfsburg and Stuttgart.
But last night on The Wolfpack Podcast, journalist Ben Jacobs shared the identity of an English club who are currently looking at the 22-year-old.
He said: “If Wolves received an offer of maybe £15-20 million, they’d be relatively delighted. That’s about the market valuation. Perhaps overall with the Las Palmas deal and the wages saved, you start to think about roughly breaking even. It’s that kind of ball park.
“Then in terms of who’s interested, I’ve heard that there’s actually Burnley, who have made an enquiry. You’ve still got Al-Shabab, who two windows ago, were deciding on whether or not they could do a deal, and nothing really came of it in the end.”
Fabio Silva to Burnley would be fascinating, but it’s unlikely
It is very interesting to hear Burnley hold an interest in Silva, but perhaps also unsurprising.
To date, Silva has only ever scored five goals in English football. But one of those did come for Wolves during a 2-1 defeat to Burnley back in December 2020.
Perhaps that is what saw them mark Silva’s card. It would certainly be interesting to see him make that move and to watch Silva actually play against Wolves in the Premier League next season.

But realistically, it will be hard for Burnley to convince Silva to join them, as Silva has very much enjoyed his time in Spain.
There is interest in Silva from Atletico Madrid, and Diego Simeone has also publicly praised him.
Surely, Atleti would in the driving seat to sign him.
