Hugo Bueno has been handed a new contract by Wolves as a reward for his emergence as a first-team player.
The Spaniard made his competitive debut for the club in October against Nottingham Forest.

He was given his first start by Steve Davis against Crystal Palace, and really impressed at Selhurst Park, providing the assist for Adama Traore to score a header.
A poor result for Wolves followed against Leicester City. But Bueno was one of only a few players to do OK at Molineux against the Foxes.
He then shone against Brentford last weekend, and it appears the left-back position is now his to lose.
Speaking about the decision to hand Bueno a new deal, technical director Scott Sellars said: “We always try to reward young players who are doing particularly well. Hugo, since he came at 16, has been excellent in how he’s progressed.
“Now he’s done the final bit we want from young players, which is to break into the first-team, so we’re delighted to get a talented boy tied down.”
Bueno follows in the footsteps of Chem Campbell, who was also handed a new deal a few weeks ago.
Not only has Bueno been rewarded with a new contract, but he has also been named the Castore Player of the Month for October.
It is quite the day for the youngster, who has become Molineux’s newest star in recent weeks.
He’s enjoyed a brilliant first few outings. But there is now some pressure for Bueno has he seeks to really nail down that starting spot.
Hugo Bueno has enjoyed an amazing start for Wolves, but there’s pressure on him now
Bueno must be feeling elated to sign a new contract with Wolves and be named Player of the Month for October.
For a young player that has just come into the first-team, that is fantastic.
But now the pressure has just cranked up a little for Bueno.
He’s been excellent so far, but it’s about proving now that he is not a flash in the pan.

Thankfully, Bueno does not seem the type of young player who is going to get carried away by things like this.
He works extremely hard, and he himself says that he doesn’t really feel pressure. He just wants to play, enjoy it and give everything.
Rayan Ait-Nouri will be itching to reclaim his place, so Bueno will need to ensure he keeps his level high to keep his talented teammate on the bench.
