Wolves could potentially see their captain Max Kilman the subject of substantial interest in January as Premier League rivals circle.
Wolves are a side that may find themselves in a position where they need to sell in order to buy in 2024, with strict Premier League profit and sustainability rules in effect.
Pedro Neto has been linked with a move away as Liverpool scouted him earlier this season.
Meanwhile, Jose Sa has also been linked with a departure amid reported Saudi Arabian interest in the Portuguese goalkeeper.
However, these aren’t the only players that the Molineux side could face the prospect of losing, with European champions West Ham United now believed to be reigniting their interest in Wolves’ captain.

Wolves could face interest in Max Kilman
It’s been reported by talkSPORT that West Ham are possibly going to reignite their interest in Wolves star Max Kilman. This is due to the Hammers boss David Moyes being a ‘long-term admirer of Kilman.
The Wolves captain was on West Ham’s shortlist last summer for central defence after they received their huge fee for Declan Rice. Kilman signed a new contract in August which runs until 2028, following interest from Napoli being seen off by Wolves.
Kilman isn’t a player that Matt Hobbs and co will be keen on selling – but due to financial restrictions, a sale could occur in order to allow for spending in other areas given he’d fetch a fee believed to reach £40m.
Gary O’Neil without a doubt though would be absolutely fuming if he were to lose his captain and star defender in one fell swoop. Kilman has been top-class in showing how talented he is for Wolves this campaign, featuring in all 20 games for Old Gold in the league this season.
Unlikely Wolves sell Max Kilman
Despite the rumours of last season’s Europa Conference League winners being interested, it’s highly unlikely Wolves allow Kilman to join the Hammers who are potentially direct rivals for a European position this season.
Kilman signed a new contract back in August and therefore Wolves will be under no requirement to sell. Moyes’ interest however will act as a compliment to the work Kilman is doing.
Under O’Neil, the 26-year-old defender has improved by leaps and bounds, establishing himself among the league’s best.
