Wolves appear to have nudged ahead of West Ham United in the race to sign one of their attacking midfield targets.
Fans are urging Wolves to get busy now in the transfer market with only three weeks to go until the new season starts.
As things currently stand, Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias are the only new faces in the squad, but Wolves arguably need around four more new players.
A new central midfielder has now become quite important after loan exits were sanctioned for Tommy Doyle and Boubacar Traore.
Another versatile forward or striker should also be on the agenda.
And Wolves likely still need to buy wing-backs for both sides of the pitch. Although that said, Ki-Jana Hoever is making an impression in pre-season and is ready to play for Wolves in the coming season.
And it seems like Wolves could be ready to really push for one target.
Wolves nudge ahead of West Ham after making concrete offer for Amine Adli

According to top German publication Sport Bild, Wolves have now presented a concrete offer for Amine Adli.
The player is said to have asked bosses at Bayer Leverkusen to negotiate, as he eyes up a move to the Premier League.
It’s previously been reported that Wolves and West Ham United are keen on Adli, and that Wolves were lining up a £23 million move.

Bild say that Leverkusen would be seeking up to £26 million, bonuses included.
It is stated that Leverkusen will not stand in Adli’s way if the offer is right.
Amine Adli style of play
Wolves will be hoping to sign Adli for less than £26 million, with the club finding real success with landing players in the £10-20 million range in recent times.
Adli is someone who could increase the competition in the forward areas for Wolves, with the Moroccan best suited to positions just behind the striker, according to Breaking The Lines.
BTL say he can play ‘either wing, as a number ‘8’, as a number ’10’ and as a centre forward’.
But mainly, Adli has operated as an attacking midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen. Potentially, Vitor Pereira might be looking at him to play in the position Matheus Cunha was mainly playing in – as an inside left forward.
And Adli seemingly does share one key trait with Cunha, with BTL describing him as ‘a fantastic ball carrier, his ability to immaculately adjust the path of the ball in the nick of time can see him weave through tight situations perfectly’.
