Pedro Neto was recently sold by Wolves, and fans are anticipating what the club will do regarding a replacement.
Neto became the club’s record sale, with the £54 million Chelsea paid just eclipsing Matheus Nunes’ £53 million transfer to Manchester City.
Neto could prove to be a big loss for Wolves.
While he did not have the best injury record, he is a player who can provide moments of magic and is capable of winning games on his own.
There will be times this season when Wolves miss Neto. But Gary O’Neil still has some very good options at his disposal.
And there is a chance he could yet add another forward to his ranks, with Carlos Forbs a target for Wolves.
Ajax winger Carlos Forbs is open to joining Wolves

It has been reported by Dutch outlet Voetbal International that Carlos Forbs would be open to joining Wolves this summer. He has apparently indicated this to the club.
It was claimed on the day news broke about Neto heading to Chelsea that Forbs was a player of interest to Wolves.
An offer has not yet gone in from Wolves.
But seemingly one will arrive soon, and it is stated that personal agreement will not be a problem. Forbs knows that he would be able to earn a significantly higher salary with the Premier League club.
One gets the feeling that something could be in the offing.
Fabrizio Romano, who first reported Wolves’ interest in Forbs last week, teased Wolves fans on social media yesterday.
He quoted his original claim on X and, left an orange emoji, a wolf emoji and an eyes emoji.
Forbs to Wolves one to watch
It looks as though there could be something happening soon regarding Forbs to Wolves.
Romano’s tweet does suggest that, and one would imagine at least one of Daniel Podence, Goncalo Guedes and Chiquinho will be leaving in the coming weeks.
Forbs would be an exciting addition, and he will be aware that the club are good when it comes to developing young players.
Forbs, who joined Ajax for just over £17 million, is a former City youth player, and Wolves have proven to be a great move for someone else who used to play in the City academy, Tommy Doyle.
Doyle and Forbs only played one game together for the City U18s. But perhaps the midfielder could put in a good word for the club
