Wolves look certain to remain a Premier League team next season. The same, however, cannot be said for Leicester City.
The Foxes, along with Ipswich Town, are as good as down and look nailed on to join Southampton in the Championship again next season.
Although Wolves aren’t mathematically safe just yet, Vitor Pereira knows it’s just a matter of time before the survival celebrations can begin.

Wolves’ win over Leicester City first off many
Although Wolves haven’t had the campaign they would’ve been hoping for at the start of the season, Leicester City’s has been so much worse.
The Foxes replaced Steve Cooper with Ruud van Nistelrooy in November and expected the Dutchman to lead them to safety.
Unfortunately, the former Manchester United striker has been unable to do for Leicester what Pereira has done for Wolves.
In fact, Pereira’s Wolves revolution started with a 3-0 win at the King Power in December and turned out to be the first of many hammer blows to Van Nistelrooy.
- Dec 22: Wolves (Lost 0-3)
- Dec 29: Man City (Lost 0-2)
- Jan 15: Crystal Palace (Lost 0-2)
- Jan 18: Fulham (Lost 0-2)
- Feb 15: Arsenal (Lost 0-2)
- Feb 21: Brentford (Lost 0-4)
- Mar 16: Man United (Lost 0-3)
- Apr 7: Newcastle (Lost 0-3)
Leicester City have now lost eight consecutive home games with zero goals — the worst run of its kind in Premier League history.
Ruud awakening for Van Nistelrooy
Van Nistelrooy’s time in charge of Leicester City will go down as one of the most miserable periods a manager has ever endured with a club in the Premier League.
The 48-year-old has seen more defeats than he has goals scored — an abysmal six months in charge of one of England’s biggest clubs, and it all started just before Christmas.
Wolves’ win at the end of last year kickstarted a torrid run of results that will not only contribute to Leicester’s relegation but also Van Nistelrooy’s departure.
Pereira, on the other hand, will look back at Wolves’ 3-0 win at the King Power as the start of something truly special.
