What clubs has Yuri Alberto played for?

Like Neymar, Alberto is an academy product of Santos, whom he played for until 2020.

After leaving Santos, Alberto signed for Sport Club Internacional and stayed there for just under two years before joining Zenit St Petersburg.

Following a loan spell at Corinthians, Zenit sold Alberto to the Brazilian club, but the Russian club still own 50% of the striker’s economic rights.

“A striker who, even with a lot of criticism, played very well, was Yuri Alberto. He grew at the time that Corinthians needed it most and helped the team with many goals, being one of the team’s top scorers in competitions.”

Yuri Alberto to Wolves transfer

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Wolves have been linked to Alberto at the request of Pereira. 

Pereira worked with the striker during his time in Brazil and is now eager to reconnect with the 24-year-old.

It’s understood that Alberto has a price tag of £50m, which would make him a high-profile signing for Wolves.
