Wolves predicted XI vs Liverpool as Vitor Pereira primed to give new signing his full debut

Wolves will play Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon. The Old Gold come into the match in good form but remain the overwhelming underdogs.

Vitor Pereira has revealed his admiration for Arne Slot but will be looking to dent his chances of winning the title.

Wolves will need to be at their absolute best if they’re to take anything away from a notoriously hostile Anfield stadium, though.

Wolves team and injury news ahead of Liverpool

Joao Gomes has served his suspension after he was shown a red card against Arsenal. The Brazilian midfielder is back, fit and available for selection.

Pereira will be without seven Wolves first-team players, though…

Hwang Hee-chan (hamstring), Jorgen Strand Larsen (hamstring), Sasa Kalajdzic (ACL), Yerson Mosquera (ACL), Leon Chiwome (ACL), Enso Gonzalez (ACL) and Boubacar Traore (illness) will all be absent.

Wolves predicted lineup vs Liverpool

Pereira’s options ahead of Sunday’s blockbuster include January signings Marshall Munetsi and Nasser Djiga.

We don’t expect Djiga to be named in the starting lineup, but he is likely to make the Wolves manager’s bench. Munetsi, on the other hand, is primed to make his first start since joining from Stade Reims on Deadline Day.

Matheus Cunha is certain to lead the line with Goncalo Guedes the favourite to work alongside the Brazilian.

Jose Sa will keep his place in between the sticks and will probably be joined in defence by Toti Gomes, Agbadou and Matt Doherty, with Rayan Ait-Nouri and Nelson Semedo operating in the wing-back positions.
