The international break has come to a close however, one Wolves player is set to feel the impact for a little longer.
Gary O’Neil saw nine of his players embark on international duty, with plenty of stars in action over the international break.
From South America to Asia, Wolves players were dotted around the globe on duty as several generated attention during the break in domestic play.
Unfortunately, the time away from the Premier League was not positive for every Wolves representative, as O’Neil was handed one injury scare.

Wolves wait on Hwang Hee-chan injury update
Just 23 minutes into international duty, Hwang Hee-chan was forced to withdraw as he sustained a nasty injury for South Korea.
The attacker was involved in a brutal challenge, seeing his ankle trapped beneath him to cause great discomfort.
Hwang was subbed off in the first half of his nation’s win over Jordan, with there now a fear over the severity of the blow.
The Wolves ace limped off the pitch before being spotted in a wheelchair after the game, with an injury analyst providing a worrying prediction of Hwang potentially being absent for as long as 10 weeks.
As the Old Gold wait for a verdict on the Korean’s ankle problem, O’Neil will have to think about his squad selection, with it unlikely that the 28-year-old will be fit for the upcoming clash against Manchester City.
Goncalo Guedes deserves a chance to impress
Hwang hasn’t been in the best form this season, seeing the forward have to settle for a spot on the bench.
O’Neil has been criticised for calling on the out-of-form figure later in games, with his absence now set to force the manager to consider another player to lean on.
Such could provide an opening for Goncalo Guedes, who is due some additional game time at Molineux after returning from loan in the summer.
The attacker has impressed when he’s been involved this term, seeing O’Neil describe the 27-year-old as ‘excellent’ for his cameos.
Considering that O’Neil looks to Hwang to provide an alternative outlet in central areas off the bench, Guedes could be in line to fill the void, something that could prove to be exciting.
The forward has three goals in six appearances for Wolves this season, showing a clinical nature when involved, which should tempt O’Neil to better utilise his services in Hwang’s absence.
Guedes has a point to prove if he is to have a future at Wolves, with there no time like the present to step up.
