Wolves secured an outstanding 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Saturday as their stunning form continued.
It’s now six wins in a row for Wolves, who are the most in-form team in Europe after climbing up to 13th in the Premier League table.
Man United-linked Matheus Cunha stole the headlines with his performance at Molineux, which included a goal and two assists.
But it wasn’t just the Brazilian superstar who contributed to three points, as centre-forward Jorgen Strand Larsen equalled a Raul Jimenez record after scoring his 13th of the season.
Meanwhile, there was delight for Portuguese talent Rodrigo Gomes, who netted his second Premier League goal for the club.

Rodrigo Gomes showed shades of Pedro Neto against Leicester
Gomes was signed for £12.7 million from Braga in the summer, and since then, the 21-year-old has played a sporadic role in 2024/25.
Under Vitor Pereira, the Portugal under-21 star has been used as a wing-back, enduring a battle with Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri for minutes.
Remarkably, his last Premier League start for the club was during a 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United in January, with a hip injury and other factors forcing him to come off the bench on multiple occasions.
On Saturday, he was substituted onto the pitch with around 13 minutes remaining and made an instant impact, slotting a calm finish past Mads Hermansen.

However, whilst his end product was excellent, the lung-bursting 65 metre run from his half was even more impressive, and it was shades of Pedro Neto.
The 25-year-old was electric on the counter-attack during his time at Molineux, known for his powerful driving runs and ability to produce magic in the final third.
Wolves fans were worried that Neto wasn’t replaced after joining Chelsea for £54 million but the pace and dribbling ability of Gomes hold promise of a brighter future, and one that could see him emulate the Portuguese superstar.
How Gomes compares to Neto in 2024/25
Neto has earned mixed reviews since moving to Stamford Bridge. Some of his performances have warranted praise while others have angered supporters.
Chelsea fans have labelled Neto as a ‘flop’ on a few occasions, highlighting how much he’s struggled to live up to expectations at a bigger club.
But just how does he compare to Gomes for his statistics in the 2024/25 campaign?

As highlighted by Sofascore, Neto outperforms Gomes for key passes per game and other attacking metrics, while the Wolves star averages more duels won.
It’s also worth remembering that Neto is playing in a more attacking role for Chelsea, with Gomes primarily used as a wing-back.
That could skew the data a lot, but ultimately, the early signs suggest the Portugal under-21 star could be the next big thing in Wolverhampton.
