Wolves fans may not be watching Andre for too much longer in a Wolves shirt, but the club may already have the ideal long-term successor.
Andre is into his second season with Wolves, and has established himself as one of the Old Gold’s best players.
The Brazilian has showcased his talents at Molineux, and had fans purring with his ability to make the game look easy at times.
His resistance to the opposition press and comfort on the ball make him stand out – and these things have also brought him some attention from other clubs.

In the summer, Juventus were reportedly interested in Andre.
And now, it has been claimed that Manchester United have assessed Andre as a potential option, along with Joao Gomes.
Realistically, it’s unlikely Andre will still be a Wolves player beyond 2026. But the club may actually have a long-term successor already.
Tommy Doyle is thriving away from Wolves amid Andre exit links
In the summer, Wolves took the decision to loan out Tommy Doyle to Birmingham City.
This came after Doyle had barely featured for Wolves once Vitor Pereira succeeded Gary O’Neil midway through last season.
Pereira just didn’t seem to fancy Doyle, and preferred more physical players.
As a result, Doyle went to Birmingham, whose fans are now really starting to see him shine.
Blues fans hailed Doyle recently following his performance against Millwall. And they were full of praise for him again last night, as he provided an assist in the 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
He has recorded some impressive data up to now in the Championship. According to fbref data, he averages 3.69 shot-creating actions per 90, which puts him in the 90th percentile in terms of midfielders.

Perhaps his most impressive quality has been his long passing. His 7.37 completed per 90 place him in the 97th percentile.
Doyle is also always looking to be positive on the ball, and is currently making 6.29 passes into the final third per 90. This puts him in the 89th percentile of midfielders.
Doyle has also shown set-piece quality this season for Birmingham, which is another thing that Wolves have lacked this term.
So amid the speculation about Andre’s future, Doyle looks like he’s shaping up to be a fine successor since he plays a similar role. However, there is one reason for concern for Wolves.
Birmingham could buy Doyle after negotiating clause
Perhaps Rob Edwards has hope of bringing Doyle back into the fold next season, regardless of which division Wolves are playing – because Andre, and Joao Gomes, will more than likely be leaving.
But there will be a slight concern, because Birmingham could buy Doyle via a clause that was negotiated with Wolves.
It was reported that if Birmingham gain promotion to the Premier League next year, then that will see Blues automatically purchase Doyle for £10 million.
At the moment, Birmingham are well in contention, sitting just two points off the play-off places.

Birmingham may not go up, which could be good news for Wolves if there are hopes to reintegrate Doyle.
That said, there is every chance Blues could still push to try and sign Doyle, who may well be receptive to an approach since he is getting regular football there.
Although, if Wolves somehow stay up, and Birmingham don’t come up, that could encourage Doyle to stay.
