Wolves fans have been looking to the weekend’s game with Fulham and thinking about who should play in midfield.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are licking their wounds after a shock 4-0 drubbing at the hands of West Ham United last weekend, and a big performance is needed at Molineux on Sunday to get back on track.

The performance at the London Stadium was possibly the worst under Nuno so far, with the defence shaky, midfield uninspiring and attack unthreatening.
If there is one team you would take to play at home after a heavy defeat though, it would absolutely be Fulham.
The newly promoted side have already shipped 10 goals in their three Premier League outings so far, and Scott Parker’s side are seemingly as fragile as they were the last time they were in the top-flight.
Midfield battles are always key, and Nuno has a decision to make regarding who he sticks in the engine room to face the Cottagers.

£12 million signing Leander Dendoncker (talkSPORT) was strangely left on the bench when a commanding figure was seemingly needed.
On social media, a number of Wolves fans were voicing their opinion that the Belgium international should start in central midfield on Sunday, with most thinking he should be deployed there at the expense of Joao Moutinho:
Yep, midfield alongside Neves.

Id defo play him and in the middle with neves and have mouto on bench for last 20
Mins to bring on i think neves donck are our starting pair now. Need some height and legs in the middle of the park. Also he can get forward and is a threat.— matthew bolas (@Bolas83) October 1, 2020
100% I feel he makes us more solid in the middle of the park. Without him we do look a weaker team!

Start him in midfield ahead of Moutinho, he’s had some bad games recently and we need some more energy

He should always start in the middle of the park gives us more energy and legs
