Some Wolves fans have been reacting to a report that has claimed the club are interested in a potential move for Middlesbrough star Marcus Tavernier.
TEAMtalk claimed yesterday that the winger is on the radars of several clubs having impressed in 2020/21 so far.
Tavernier has featured in every single game for Boro up to now, and although he has only scored three goals and made three assists, the 21-year-old has caught the eye with some lively performances.
Wolves aren’t the only side keen, TEAMtalk state that Everton, Leeds and Leicester are all circling.
It is, however, explained that Boro are opposed to losing their young talent, who is the brother of Rangers full-back James..
Boro are aiming to gain promotion back to the Premier League at the end of the season, and Tavernier is a key player for Neil Warnock, as evidenced by his heavy involvement so far.
On social media, some Wolves fans have been reacting to the report of interest in Tavernier.
There has been a fairly mixed response to the idea of Tavernier moving to Molineux.
Some don’t see it as a move that needs to be made, while others can’t help but remember the last transfer deal Wolves did with Boro:
He looks tidy !

Middlesbrough fans were pretty annoyed when we took Traore off them… I could imagine them being really annoyed if we came back for this lad.
