Wolves crashed to a hugely disappointing defeat on Saturday – and Daniel Podence’s latest Instagram post isn’t sitting well with some.
Wanderers missed a chance to bounce back from the defeat to Newcastle United against Leeds United.

Wolves really needed a win to create a bit of breathing room down at the bottom.
But Wolves just weren’t good enough in either box at Molineux.
There were a couple of poor decisions that stung Wolves.
But at the end of the day, Wolves came unstuck due to poor defending and wastefulness.
After the highs of beating Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, there is now a feeling of doom and gloom again.
Wolves supporters are desperate for their team to pull clear of danger. But every time it looks as if that will happen, they get dragged back in again.
It is now just about getting through the season and sealing safety.
It is serious business, which is why Podence upset some people last night.
The winger uploaded some photos on Instagram from the defeat to Leeds. Firstly, it is not at all that common for players to do that after a defeat, unless they have scored in the game.
But £17 million man Podence chose three photos, the second of which was his attempt at a bicycle kick in the first-half.
The attempt, which was completely the wrong option, ended up going into the stands.
It is very understandable that this choice of photo would annoy supporters, given the end result and Podence’s own performance in the game.
Daniel Podence has missed the mark with latest Instagram post
Players are obviously free to post whatever they want. And most of them are likely urged to engage whatever has happened in a game.
But this from Podence just doesn’t feel right.

Wolves are now scrapping for their Premier League lives.
The 4-2 defeat to Leeds was potentially the worst result of the season. And Podence has uploaded a picture of a moment from the game that was actually a bit embarrassing when it happened.
Podence can be very frustrating on the pitch, and he has definitely missed the mark with this particular post.
Only a couple of months ago he was in a great moment. He was arguably Lopetegui’s main man at Molineux.
His focus needs to be on getting back to those levels, as Wolves work to beat the drop.
