Wolves fans are hoping to see some big improvements after the international break, and Tolu Arokodare’s arrival could prompt big change eventually.
Wolves have started the Premier League campaign with three straight defeats so far.
Vitor Pereira already has his work cut out, and fans are worried about what the season ahead holds.
Pereira had wanted a mid-table finish.
That is going to be a very tall order, given how many proven Premier League players Wolves lost.
But fans will hope that the new signings will somehow turn out really good – and Tolu Arokodare’s arrival is especially interesting.
Arokodare was on target for Nigeria over the weekend, and hopefully he’ll be able to hit the ground running quickly at Molineux.
And his potential use could be quite fascinating.

Wolves may eventually move to a back four to accommodate Tolu Arokodare

Jorgen Strand Larsen is a nailed-on starter for Wolves.
The Norwegian has been brilliant since he arrived at the club last year, and is hugely important to the team.
It is difficult to see him being ousted by new signing Arokodare.
But some have floated the possibility of the two players playing in a partnership.
That would be rather fascinating to see, with both Strand Larsen and Arokodare big physical presences.
As we know, for the longest time, Wolves have been very faithful to the three-at-the-back system and operating with wing-backs.
It has rather formed part of the club’s DNA, but some have wondered if it could be time for a change.
You don’t see teams play 4-4-2 so much these days, but Wolves potentially have the players to do that.
Arokodare will see plenty of involvement for Wolves
Given Arokodare has cost £24 million, you would imagine he is going to feature a lot this season.
At first, it’s likely he’ll play second fiddle to Strand Larsen. The player admitted upon signing that he is still building his fitness.
But soon he’ll start playing regularly, and it will be really interesting how soon Pereira turns to a potential partnership.
Of course, there is the possibility that Arokodare and Strand Larsen could play together but Wolves still keep with a back three and wing-backs. A 3-5-2 is something we have seen down the years.
But changing to a back four may allow for Wolves to become more dangerous in the final third – so far, it’s just two goals scored in the Premier League and eight conceded. Potentially, a system change may be required if Wolves continue to struggle.
Dropping a defender to get Arokodare in at the other end might just be the way to go.
