Wolves could face Everton swoop for Gibbs-White if Newcastle complete Anthony Gordon deal

Wolves may have to brace for a transfer approach from Everton for Morgan Gibbs-White if Newcastle United successfully sign Anthony Gordon.

The Magpies have reportedly (Daily Mail) approached the Toffees over the exciting winger.

Apparently, the mega-rich Geordies are looking into a possible £35 million deal.

They are expecting to face resistance from Everton over the youngster. But the Merseyside club are not in the best financial position at the moment and may ultimately decide to do business.

And if Newcastle do manage to prise Gordon away from his boyhood club, then it could prompt Everton to come calling for Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.

The Toffees were reported this week to have an interest in the England U21 star.

Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth said that the club were expected to make an official offer.

If Gordon was to leave Goodison Park, then that would surely increase the likelihood of Everton making that offer for Gibbs-White.

Wolves should brace for Everton swoop over Gibbs-White if Gordon signs for Newcastle

If Newcastle get Gordon then Wolves may find Everton do indeed come in for Gibbs-White.

Gordon can play on both the right and the left wing, as can the Wolves man, who can also play centrally of course.

With Everton having already sold Richarlison, they will surely be able to present a good enough offer for Gibbs-White.

It is thought Wolves would want at least £30 million for their man.

You would think Everton could meet that asking price after selling Richarlison and then Gordon.
