Wolves are currently the only team in the Premier League yet to get a point on the board, and major improvements are required.
Wolves have come into the new season underprepared and without momentum, with new signings arriving late and no wins in pre-season to speak of.
Fans are very concerned about the season ahead, and Vitor Pereira has much to ponder over the international break.
Sadly so far, there haven’t been too many positives to take regarding Wolves’ start in the Premier League.
The 3-2 win over West Ham United in the Carabao Cup provided some brief joy, but even that game had supporters tearing their hair out for large parts.
Wolves need to start building some momentum after the international break. Realistically, the whole squad needs to improve, but Molineux News now focuses on three players in particular who have got to get their act together.
Emmanuel Agbadou

Emmanuel Agbadou made a colossal impact for Wolves last season and was key in helping the club to pull away from the relegation zone.
But frustratingly, and bizarrely, the Ivorian has been one of Wolves’ worst players so far in 2025/26.
His form has dropped off a cliff, with the 28-year-old being partly at fault for several goals already this campaign.
Agbadou has appeared lethargic at times and also been very sloppy on the ball. Positionally as well, he has seemed lost.
Agbadou has always played in a laidback way. Previously, that has made him look head and shoulders above other players.
But arguably at times this season he’s been a little bit too laidback, and opponents may also have cottoned on to the way he plays and spotted potential for him to be got at.
Pereira has challenged Agbadou to simplify his game and the 28-year-old must heed this advice, before he ends up getting dropped.
Toti Gomes

Another really strong performer in the second half of last season, Toti Gomes has not started the new season at all well.
Toti has assumed the captaincy at Wolves following the departure of Nelson Semedo, so perhaps the armband is currently weighing a bit heavily. But he needs to embrace the role, and quickly.
With Wolves not playing well or picking up results, one would imagine the role of captain can be tough.
But Toti – who got a red card against Bournemouth – has to stand up and be counted.
We know he can be so good in the position on the left of Wolves’ back three. He knows it well enough, and he must pick up his form.
He may have been made captain, but that doesn’t necessarily guarantee his place in the side. While it’s perhaps unlikely he’ll be dropped any time soon, new signing Ladislav Krejci is an alternative option for Pereira.
Hopefully, Toti will respond positively to that signing by Wolves – the last thing he’ll want to happen is that he gets dropped having just received the armband.
Jhon Arias
It has been a fairly lukewarm start from Jhon Arias at Wolves.
He has been billed as the replacement for Matheus Cunha, and has even taken the number 10 shirt the Brazilian used to wear.
The £19 million (BBC Sport) Colombian is still finding his feet at Molineux, which is understandable. It has to have been a very big change for him coming in from the Brazilian Serie A.
Arias also said earlier on he was looking to improve his English, and hopefully he’ll make good progress with that in the coming months.
But Wolves could do with him picking things up especially in an attacking sense after the international break, as the club’s marquee signing of the summer.
Pereira personally recommended Wolves to sign Arias after seeing him up close for Fluminense, and so fans have expectations of the South American.
Wolves are crying out for some creativity and final third output, and Arias – given his numbers for Fluminense – has a responsibility to make things happen.
