Wolves completed their first signing of the January transfer window as Emmanuel Agbadou made the switch from Reims.
Vitor Pereira’s main transfer wish was signing a centre-back and he was granted that on Thursday as Wolves signed Agbadou on a 4.5-year contract.
Sporting director Matt Hobbs was instantly delighted with the Agbadou transfer, praising the 27-year-old’s winning mentality while offering a positive verdict on the Ivorian’s attributes.
Now that the towering centre-back is through the door, Wolves fans have demanded more signings after Agbadou.
So, with that said, here are three things that need to happen next in the transfer window.

Wolves must sign another centre-back
Agbadou, who made 80 appearances for Reims, is a promising signing for the Old Gold but he only fixes half the problem.
Pereira is still short defensively, with only Craig Dawson and Santi Bueno as his other two fit senior centre-back options.
Luckily, Wolves planned on signing more than one defender before the transfer window, and supporters will hope that dream comes true.
Chelsea’s Renato Veiga is being eyed by Perieira and he could be available to sign along with Kevin Danso, who emerged as Wolves top target.
Veiga and Danso are just potential players the club could sign with another defensive signing imperative this month.
Pereira must resolve the future of Mario Lemina
It isn’t just incomings that will concern fans, as they will want the future of Mario Lemina resolved sooner rather than later.
Al Shabab placed Lemina on their list of targets last week as Pereira’s former club looked to bolster their midfield ranks.
Wolves set a £5m price tag on Lemina, who sees his contract at Molineux expire in June, with the club seemingly looking to recoup a fee for him.
However, Lemina’s rumoured move to Al Shabab has gone quiet, according to journalist David Ornstein, suggesting he could stay beyond January.
The Gabon international having his future in limbo isn’t ideal for the squad harmony, and they’ll want to know whether he’s staying or going.
Matheus Cunha must sign new Wolves contract
Arguably the most business the club could do this month is handing Matheus Cunha a new Wolves contract.
Cunha is wanted by Arsenal among many other clubs after his dazzling first half of the season, scoring 10 and assisting four times in 19 Premier League appearances.
It was reported on Tuesday that Cunha had verbally agreed a new Wolves contract, which included a fresh four-year deal and a relegation release clause worth £45 million.
Supporters would have been delighted to hear that news but, the club haven’t officially announced his new deal and until they do, there will be an anxious wait.
The Brazilian forward must commit his future to the club, at least until the summer, as he’s crucial to their survival hopes.
