Wolves have picked up just two points from their first seven Premier League games, suggesting changes need to be made.
Wolves appear set for a relegation battle this season, with fans having grown increasingly concerned as the weeks have gone by.
The fact that Wolves have not yet won a Premier League game this campaign is a major worry.
Wolves have come close in the last two matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton and hopefully that elusive first win will finally come next weekend against Sunderland.
There have been improvements in recent weeks to suggest that first win is getting closer.
Molineux News looked at Wolves players who deserved more minutes during the September international break. But perhaps the picture has slightly changed for Vitor Pereira since then, and we now look at three players who might need some more minutes after the latest international break.
Mateus Mane

Last season, Pereira said Mane would be in Wolves’ first-team in 2025/26.
Pereira called Mane a ‘special talent’, and fans were excited for the teenager to build on his debut, which came against Brighton back in May.
But so far, Mane has not made a single first-team squad, with Pereira seemingly reluctant to turn to the youngster.
But Mane has been dazzling for the U21s and is surely no longer a player the manager can ignore.
Wolves have really struggled in the final third this season, and unleashing Mane, who is no doubt feeling confident right now, might just be worth the risk.
U21s boss James Collins has called Mane ‘top class’ (via E&S), and hopefully this compliment will at least prompt Pereira to put Mane on the bench against Sunderland.
Fer Lopez
Fer Lopez enjoyed a strong cameo against Everton earlier this season, and fans thought that could be the catalyst for the young Spaniard.
But since that game, Lopez has played just 58 minutes in the Premier League. He also had zero involvement in the 2-0 win over Everton in the Carabao Cup.

Pereira’s management of him has been peculiar to say the least. The service to Jorgen Strand Larsen hasn’t been particularly good, and Lopez has actually shown some creativity across his 176 competitive minutes in an old gold shirt.
Lopez is close with Strand Larsen, and the manager ought to be letting them build an on-field relationship too.
Tolu Arokodare
Unfortunately at the moment, Strand Larsen is struggling to have an impact for Wolves.
While it can be argued that the service to him hasn’t been great, Strand Larsen could also be doing more.
Strand Larsen has spoken of fitness issues recently, so that could be a reason why he has lacked influence for Wolves so far.

If things do not pick up soon then there will be a case for Tolu Arokodare to have more involvement – potentially even leading the line ahead of the Norwegian.
Tolu demonstrated his brilliant finishing ability against Everton in the Carabao Cup and is obviously a big handful for defenders.
Arokodare has been impressing in Wolves training, so perhaps we will be seeing more of the Nigerian in the coming weeks.
