There have not been a lot of positives surrounding Wolves lately, but there are reasons to remain optimistic this season.
The Old Gold are sitting in last place of the Premier League, and it is by all means not where they want to be.

No wins from seven matches have compounded the negativity felt by those surrounding the club, particularly after losing last season’s big stars in Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait Nouri.
However, it is not all doom and gloom at Molineux, and there are quite a few things that can spark optimism.
New signings look to be adapting for Wolves
Over recent weeks, improved performances from new signings have begun to show.
Jhon Arias was named man-of-the-match against Tottenham, and in the same game, Jackson Tchatchoua was said to have ‘changed’ proceedings.
All of Wolves’ new arrivals came with no Premier League experience, so an adaptation period was always likely to happen.
Now, it looks like a corner has been turned, and let’s hope it was not just a one-off and we can start seeing the new lads become regular top performers.
Of course, not all of the new players have been looking good, with Fer Lopez and David Moller Wolfe struggling to get minutes.
Vitor Pereira’s new system has improved performances
While the new players have started to look better, Vitor Pereira’s new formation has also increased the levels of performance.
In the back four, the Old Gold look much more proactive, and despite being one defender less, they actually look more solid.
Joe Hart is a big fan of Pereira’s tactics in this formation, and the Portuguese head coach should persist with it more often.
He has garnered criticism recently due to switching out of it during games, but with some more time, he should start to trust in it more.

Jorgen Strand Larsen is slowly coming back to full fitness
Wolves have been without their star striker for much of the season so far, and when they have had him, he has not been 100 per cent fit.
Jorgen Strand Larsen is slowly getting back to full health, and that should see the Old Gold look more dangerous in attack.
He looks set to get more minutes for Norway as Erling Haaland’s withdrawal opens the door for Larsen to start against New Zealand.
More minutes in the tank are ideal for both the player and the club, as that will help him get up to speed for when domestic football returns.
