February was a decent month overall for Wolves, with Matheus Cunha again making some big contributions.
The Brazilian – fresh from signing his new contract at Molineux, scored a goal in four straight games for Wolves before blanking at Fulham on Tuesday.
Cunha’s efforts partly helped Wolves to pick up six points in the league, and also advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Most of the talk has been about him again, and he will likely be in with a very good chance of winning Wolves’ Player of the Month award for February.
But potentially, there is one player who could – and perhaps should – run him close.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde would be deserving Player of the Month winner at Wolves

Emmanuel Agbadou won Wolves’ Player of the Month for January, but there will be a different recipient this time around, with the Ivorian having missed the last few games with injury.
Cunha would deserve to win after scoring four goals.
But there is potentially also a case for Jean-Ricner Bellegarde to win this time around.
Bellegarde has been player transformed in recent weeks, with a confidence-boosting performance against Aston Villa at the start of the month serving as the catalyst.
Bellegarde played in central midfield – something he’s rarely got to do since coming to Wolves – alongside Andre, in place of the suspended Joao Gomes.
And Bellegarde took his chance, putting in a top shift while also scoring a brilliant goal in the 2-0 win.
Bellegarde was actually dropped to the bench for the next game against Liverpool which was a harsh call from Vitor Pereira. Bellegarde showed Pereira up though, and impressed when he came on. He would have had an assist had Marshall Munetsi had more composure in front of goal.
Bellegarde continued his good form in the 1-0 win over Bournemouth, and even in the defeat to Fulham, his great cross found Gomes who equalised.
Bellegarde may ultimately come up short against Cunha for Wolves’ Player of the Month award for February.
But perhaps fans will feel his efforts need acknowledging and he just pips the Brazilian in the vote. If that did happen, he would be a worthy winner.
Bellegarde finally proving himself in a Wolves shirt
It has been a long time coming, but Bellegarde is finally showing what he’s all about for Wolves.
It’s been difficult for him because he’s had to play out wide a lot of the time.

Former Wolves midfielder Dave Edwards sympathised with Bellegarde for that, as he had to do the same in his career.
But Edwards reckons Bellegarde has finally shown himself to be viable, and long may his form continue.
Hopefully, Pereira will continue to give him regular opportunities now that he has clearly found confidence.
