The transfer window has been open just over a week and the wheels are in motion as far as Wolves business is concerned.
Wolves have agreed a £15m deal for Emmanuel Agbadou, the Ivorian centre-back from Reims who has completed his medical ahead of a transfer.
Chelsea’s Renato Veiga is also on Wolves’ radar after finalising the deal for Agbadou, and Vitor Pereira doesn’t plan on stopping three.
According to A Bola, scouts from Molineux were present for the Taca da Liga semi-final between Sporting Lisbon and Porto, although it wasn’t noted which players they were looking at.
Viktor Gyokeres, who Wolves nearly signed in 2023, scored the winner to send Sporting through to the final, with the Wanderers now cursing their luck as the Swedish machine is one of the planet’s best strikers.
Realistically, a deal for Gyokeres would never be possible but there are plenty of other players Wolves could have scouted.

Fabio Vieira
One player the scouts could have been looking at from the match is Fabio Vieira, the midfielder currently on loan at Porto from Arsenal.
Vieira came off the bench in the 61st minute to try and rescue the game for his side, failing to do so, though he has been a decent performer this term.
The 24-year-old has produced four goal involvements in 19 matches in all competitions, and the Gunners are willing to listen to offers for the Portuguese playmaker who they paid £34m for in 2022.
Wolves are looking to sign a midfielder this month and perhaps Vieira is someone who could take Pereira’s fancy following his 30-minute cameo.
Otavio
Wolves are still looking to sign another defender and in turn, Pereira will have had a close eye on the defensive talents.
Porto’s Otavio perhaps fits the profile of a player he’d like, given the fact he’s young with huge potential, competent with the ball at his feet and strong in the air.
The 22-year-old started alongside Nehuén Pérez in the heart of the back four on Tuesday night, and it will have been a tough one up against Gyokeres.
However, Otavio has more than proven his worth this term across 10 appearances in Liga Portugal, and Wolves could pick him up for relatively cheap in this market.
Jeremiah St Juste
Dutch centre-back Jeremiah St Juste was in defence for Sporting alongside the highly-rated Ousmane Diomande.
St Juste has established himself as a solid ball-playing defender for the Portuguese side, with Premier League clubs previously showing an interest in him.
Quick off the ground and explosive in the air, St Juste could be the perfect fit for what Pereira is looking for, with Wolves fans perhaps hoping he’s one of the players that’s been scouted.
The 28-year-old has played for multiple clubs across his career, including Heerenveen, Feyenoord, Mainz and now Sporting.
The next adventure, meanwhile, could involve the Premier League if Molineux officials liked the look of what they saw.
