Wolves will be eager to add to their depth this summer however, not every target should be pursued by Gary O’Neil.
The summer transfer window has been positive so far for Wolves, who have welcomed three new players to Gary O’Neil’s squad.
Pedro Lima, Rodrigo Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen have bolstered the manager’s options in attack and defence, with further movement in the market now expected.
This week, Wolves have been linked to Emmanuel Latte Lath and now, another attacking target has been identified.

Wolves and Leicester City eyeing Tottenham winger Manor Solomon
The capture of Gomes has bolstered O’Neil’s options on the wing, with Tottenham winger Manor Solomon now claimed to be another target for Wolves.
A report from TBR claim that Wolves, Leicester City and Brighton have ‘enquired’ about Solomon’s availability this summer, with there an understanding that Spurs want to sell.
The Lilywhites would receive a total profit from the 25-year-old, whom they signed on a free transfer last summer.
Despite having been in North London for over a year, Premier League fans may be more familiar with Solomon’s time at Fulham, where he dazzled during a loan spell from Shakhtar Donetsk.
While the winger was praised as being “really strong” on the flank by Marco Silva at Craven Cottage, Wolves should have some considerable reservations about signing the Spurs outsider.
Solomon’s dire injury record will be a concern for Wolves
Following his arrival in July 2023, Solomon has only made six appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s side due to injury.
The Israel international suffered a knee injury in October, keeping him out of action for the remainder of the season in what was a case of rotten luck for the winger at his new club.
That being said, it was not uncommon for Solomon to be sidelined due to injury, as his record away from the action should cause concerns for Wolves.
As per Transfermarkt, the 25-year-old has missed a staggering 469 days to injury since the start of the 2021/22 campaign, which should trigger alarm bells for O’Neil.
Having to contend with Pedro Neto’s injury luck last season was difficult enough for the manager, with Solomon’s fortune on the injury front being similar to the Portugal international.
Wolves’ 2023/24 campaign was derailed in the final months of the season due to the injury woes within O’Neil’s squad, something that signing a player with Solomon’s record will not ease.
As a result, Wolves must avoid pursuing a deal for the Israeli at all costs and look at better options available in the market.
