In their final Premier League match of the season, Wolves supporters will be preparing to say goodbye to some of their players.
As the curtain is drawn on the 2024/25 campaign, Vitor Pereira is leading Wolves into a new era, and that requires wholesale changes to the playing squad.
Matheus Cunha’s pending move to Manchester United has dominated the headlines, but he’s just one of several who will be bidding farewell to Molineux.
Hwang Hee-chan is out of favour under Pereira, and the South Korean forward could exit the club this summer, alongside Portuguese striker Goncalo Guedes.
There is a chance those two players feature on the pitch on Sunday, with others receiving the same chances, while one star has been denied that opportunity.

Tommy Doyle ruled out of Wolves vs Brentford
Although some stars have been allowed to shine under Pereira, others have been cast into shadows, with Tommy Doyle experiencing misfortune.
Doyle was loved by Gary O’Neil during his period managing the club and many supporters were also fond of the Englishman.
But the 23-year-old isn’t someone who fits into Pereira’s all-action, pressing system, with a preference to start Brazilian duo Andre and Joao Gomes.
Pereira has spoken about Doyle’s physical limitations before, feeling he’s better used as an attacking midfielder or someone with more creative responsibility.
Unfortunately, there has been no place for the ex-Manchester City youngster, with his last start coming in a 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in January.

Since then, he’s played just 47 minutes in the Premier League and watched his confidence crumble after featuring prominently under O’Neil.

Some Wolves fans will be saddened to know that he’s been ruled out of the final home game with a knock that has kept him out of training, as confirmed by Express & Star journalist Liam Keen on X.
That means he may have already played his last minutes for the club ahead of the summer transfer window opening.
Doyle is on his way out of Wolves
When Wolves signed Doyle permanently for just £4.3 million just a year ago, it felt like a long-term capture.
But things can soon change in football, and now, he finds himself in a position where he needs to move on to play regular first-team football.
In January, it emerged that Sunderland wanted to sign Doyle. The Black Cats are set to play against Sheffield United in the Championship play-off final this weekend.
Should they win promotion to the Premier League, perhaps a transfer for the Englishman is something they’ll explore. Or, even if they remain in the Championship, the deep-lying playmaker could be someone of interest.
Either way, it’s sad that Doyle won’t get the chance to say goodbye properly, in what could be the end of his Molineux career.
