Wolves host Crystal Palace this weekend as Rob Edwards takes charge of his first game since being appointed, and fans would love to see one bold call be made.
It’s a massive weekend for Edwards, making his Molineux return against a Palace side that has been struggling for form of late — but who pose a huge threat.
Edwards had plenty of issues to address over the international break, but hopefully he has a better handle on the side and can confidently pick a strong Wolves XI for Saturday’s clash.
He would no doubt earn some brownie points with fans if he gives one exciting player a game.

A Mateus Mane appearance would go down well with Wolves fans
There was plenty to criticise Vitor Pereira about in the final few weeks of his tenure, but one thing that frustrated fans beyond belief was his unwillingness to give chances to youth players, even though nothing else was working at the time.

Edwards would instantly gain favour with the Wolves support for showing the ambition to trust in the academy stars who have been on fire this season.
And the most exciting of the bunch is Mateus Mane.
Mane and Enso Gonzalez have been spotted in Wolves training this week. If Edwards is brave enough to give the 18-year-old a run against the Eagles — or better yet, a start — it’s sure to excite fans of his new(ish) club.
How Mane fits into the Wolves attack
Especially in the aftermath of an international break, it’s best to hold off on predicting the lineup for Palace until team news emerges.
But that doesn’t mean some pre-predicting can be done.
Wolves fans, how do you see Rob Edwards getting on in his first game against Crystal Palace?
Edwards needs to get the best out of Jorgen Strand Larsen if Wolves are to have any hope of a resurgence, and after a goal for Norway, he may finally be ready to assume the talisman role once again.
He has to start, at least in the beginning, but what the Wolves boss decides to do around him will be very interesting to see.
If Mane comes in, he could play on either flank, accompanied by one of Jhon Arias, Fer Lopez, and Hwang Hee-chan.
Palace are a strong defensive outfit under Oliver Glasner, and it might be that some Mane magic is needed to open things up.
