Many Wolves fans are hoping for a big attacking improvement next season.
The club really struggled to score goals throughout 2021/22, and finished the campaign among the division’s lowest scorers.
Only the three relegated clubs scored fewer than Wolves’ 38.

The hope is that Wolves will sign a proven striker to help address the issue.
But it’s important that some of the current crop also step up.
A lot of people are particularly excited to watch Pedro Neto in 2022/23. The youngster made his return from a serious knee injury back in February.
Since then it’s been getting back into the swing of things for the 22-year-old.
It was about building his fitness back up and trying to get match-sharp.
He had a setback back in March which saw him miss a couple more games against Leeds United and Everton.
But he came back, and by the end of the season he was looking much more lively. He got an assist against Manchester City, and scored against Liverpool on the final day, before getting injured again.

Hopes are high that Neto, 22, can hit the ground running quickly in 2021/22 with a full pre-season behind him.
Neto mostly plays from the left, and it will be interesting to see who will operate behind him.
Rayan Ait-Nouri really caught the eye at times last season, especially when Jonny Castro Otto was still sidelined.
The £10 million Frenchman put in some fantastic displays, showcasing offensive and defensive qualities.
Ait-Nouri and Neto could be an exciting partnership for Wolves
Neto was absolutely outstanding in the 2020/21, where he played mostly from the left.
It would be fantastic if he could get back to that level.
Fernando Marcal won’t be around next term for Wanderers, so there will potentially be more opportunities for Ait-Nouri.

Lage could be tempted to play Jonny. But Ait-Nouri offers a great attacking threat and ultimately Wolves need to be bolder next season.
Ait-Nouri getting up there and overlapping and underlapping Neto is something that could cause real problems for the opposition.
