Wolves fans are deeply concerned about the fate of the club this season, and there’s one Premier League development that may now intensify concerns.
Vitor Pereira has still yet to oversee a league victory this season, losing the club’s latest game against Sunderland 2-0.
It was a big opportunity for Wanderers, but the players put in a poor performance at the Stadium of Light, with Pereira also coming in for criticism for some decisions he made.
Indeed, some Wolves fans actually believe Pereira should now be sacked after a torrid run of results recently.
But Fosun will surely stick by Pereira for as long as they possibly can after handing him a new deal in September.
Pereira is seemingly not in danger of the sack just at the moment. But one manager who has bitten the dust elsewhere in the Premier League in recent days is Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest.
And that situation is potentially significant for Wolves given who the Reds are about to bring in.
Sean Dyche to Nottingham Forest may not be good news for Wolves

Forest have struggled so far in what has been a turbulent season.
Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked following the breakdown of his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis, who then moved to appoint Postecoglou as his successor.
It felt like an odd move at the time, and it was one that did not work out.
On Saturday, after Forest lost 3-0 to Chelsea, Postecoglou was sacked within minutes of the final whistle, and left his post after just 39 days in charge.
Now, according to multiple outlets, Sean Dyche is primed to succeed the Australian.
And this may not be ideal for Wolves, because Dyche is a proven manager when it comes to staving off relegation. He kept Burnley in the Premier League for five consecutive seasons from 2016 to 2021, before he was sacked in April 2022 with the Clarets ending 2021/22 by going down.
While he may not oversee the most exciting brand of football, Dyche knows how to get results in the Premier League, and his style will be more similar to that of Nuno than Postecoglou.
He feels a much better fit for Forest than Postecoglou ever was, and his previous work at Burnley and Everton surely boosts their chances of staying up.
It is a positive move by one of Wolves’ relegation rivals, which follows West Ham United swooping for Nuno Espirito Santo before the international break.
Another reason Dyche to Forest isn’t ideal for Wolves
So Forest will now begin a new era and it will be interesting to see if Dyche does indeed prove to be a good fit.
There is also another reason why Dyche to Forest is perhaps not the best thing to happen from a Wolves perspective.

Given how much Wolves are struggling, it is not out of the question that Pereira could lose his job soon. Currently he retains the faith of his superiors, and the new contract he got in September will probably buy him some time.
But if he cannot turn things around he will go, and then Wolves will need a successor.
And Dyche would potentially have been a decent option for Wolves in their fight against relegation. But the Englishman will now not be on the market if Pereira is sacked.
