Wolves face a challenging season this time around.
At the moment, the team is doing fairly well, having acquired eight points from the first eight games.
That is not a bad return at all considering the fixture list.

Arguably, Wolves should actually have more points than they currently do, having been unlucky in parts.
But most fans will take the current tally and position.
And one many who has played a huge role in Wolves’ start to 2023/24 is Pedro Neto.
As a result of his exploits, there is already speculation about his future but quite simply, Wolves must not sell Neto in January…
Wolves must avoid selling Pedro Neto in January, with speculation already mounting
It has been reported recently by TEAMtalk that Wolves could actually offload Neto in the next transfer window. Apparently, this is something that is likely.
Supposedly, the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are all keen.
But a potential deal simply must not be sanctioned.
Neto – described as ‘fantastic’ by Darren Bent recently – has provided five assists already in the Premier League, and has stood out pretty much very game so far.
Neto has shown he can create things out of nothing for Wolves.
His assists against Liverpool and Manchester City, and his goal against Luton Town, are evidence of that.
He is a game changer for Wolves, and these kind of players are not all that common.
Wolves’ financial situation has eased now since the summer, and fans would like to hope there isn’t pressure to cash in on Neto.
But the big clubs in the Premier League have a lot of money. And some do have genuine need for a quality winger right now.

So Wolves could definitely find themselves being tempted to sell.
But it’s surely in the club’s best interests to avoid entertaining offers.
By selling Neto, the potential for Wolves to get sucked into a relegation battle increases significantly.
Wolves officials will know that Neto’s market value is increasing by the week. But a sale should only be considered next summer a the earliest. While there’s been a lot to like about Wolves in these opening weeks, there is just too much risk involved with letting a player as influential as Neto go.
